Entirely wood-dominant from top to base: rich, deep, and powerfully complex in the way that good oud always is. The agarwood and eaglewood character comes through clearly, with a sandalwood warmth underneath that rounds and smooths the darker, more resinous facets. It is not sharp or medicinal at working concentrations, but rather dense and enveloping, the kind of material that develops slowly on skin and shifts over hours. As a modifier it adds depth, darkness, and anchoring weight to any composition it enters; as a base material used at higher concentrations it can carry an entire oriental or woody oriental structure on its own.

Oud Base works as a heart-to-base fixative, woody oriental anchor, and depth modifier with exceptional tenacity across virtually all application categories.

Recommended concentration: 0.5% minimum, 3% average, up to 30% maximum in a finished compound.
