Nature of Products Sold

The Parfum Apothecary supplies aromatic raw materials including, but not limited to:

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, materials are sold as raw components and not as finished consumer fragrance products.


IFRA Compliance

Certain materials supplied by The Parfum Apothecary are accompanied by an IFRA Certificate of Conformity issued by the original manufacturer or supplier.

The Parfum Apothecary:

  • Relies on supplier-provided IFRA documentation

  • Does not independently test or issue IFRA Certificates of Conformity

  • Sells all materials as supplied, without alteration or reformulation

IFRA Standards apply to finished fragrance products, not to individual raw materials sold as components.
It is the responsibility of the end user or formulator to ensure that finished products comply with current IFRA Standards and all applicable regulations.

Supplier IFRA documentation may be made available to trade customers upon request.


Use, Handling & Storage

Aromatic raw materials should be handled with appropriate care and professional judgement.

General guidance:

  • Avoid direct skin contact unless properly diluted

  • Use gloves and eye protection where appropriate

  • Store materials in tightly closed containers, away from heat, light, and ignition sources

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets

Some materials may be:

  • Flammable

  • Skin sensitising

  • Photosensitising

  • Irritating at certain concentrations

Users should consult relevant SDS documentation before use.


Intended Use

Materials sold by The Parfum Apothecary are intended for:

  • Perfumery and fragrance formulation

  • Incense and aromatic use
