Fragrance Material | Pure Aroma Molecule

Ambroxan® is a synthetic aroma chemical supplied in crystalline (powder) form, used in perfumery to provide ambergris-style warmth, diffusion, and longevity. It functions as both a subtle scent contributor and a fixative in modern fragrance structures.

Ambroxan® presents a smooth amber-woody profile with dry mineral facets and a subtle musky warmth. The character is clean rather than animalic, with a quiet radiance that develops gradually on skin. It adds body and persistence without sweetness, reading contemporary and polished.

Ambroxan® is used as a base note and performance driver, effective across a wide range of styles.

Recommended concentration: 0.5–2% (higher levels for modern amber-woody profiles)

Particularly effective in:
Amber, woody, and “skin scent” compositions
Fresh structures needing longevity and diffusion

Blends well with:
Citrus and aromatic tops
Woods (cedarwood, sandalwood, vetiver)
Musks and Iso E–type materials

Supplied as crystals and typically pre-dissolved in alcohol (e.g. 10%) before use for accurate dosing and ease of blending

Suitable for non-perfumery applications such as candles and home fragrance where persistence is desired
