Pure Essential Oil | Cinnamomum verum

Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil is a steam-distilled essential oil obtained from the leaves of Cinnamomum verum, used to add warm, spicy, and aromatic depth. Compared to cinnamon bark, it is drier and more herbal, making it well suited to structured spicy, woody, and fougère compositions.

Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil presents a warm, spicy-aromatic profile with clove-like heat, green herbal facets, and a dry woody undertone. It is less sweet and less gourmand than bark oil, reading sharper and more aromatic, with a clean spice character that adds definition rather than richness.

Cinnamon Leaf functions primarily as a heart note or spice modifier, adding warmth and structure.

Recommended concentration: 0.05–5% (potent; use sparingly)

Particularly effective in:
Spicy woods and amber structures
Fougères and aromatic compositions
Herbal-spice accords requiring dryness rather than sweetness

Blends well with:
Citrus (bergamot, bitter orange)
Aromatics (lavender, rosemary, bay)
Woods (cedarwood, sandalwood)
Resins for added depth

Suitable for non-perfumery applications including soaps, candles, and home fragrance at low levels

Small increases significantly intensify warmth and spice.
