Think potato peel, dried root, bitter dust. The heart settles into a dry wood-and-earth quality, quieter but persistent. The base is woody, mossy, and quietly animalic, drying down to something ancient and mineral. Odour life is only 5.3 hours on a smelling strip, which means it functions primarily as a top-to-heart modifier rather than a fixative, but its effect on a composition is outsized relative to that brevity. Pre-dilute before use.

Raw Root Accord works as a top-to-heart naturalising modifier, savoury vegetal accent, and unusual gourmand-botanical bridge material at very low concentrations.

Recommended concentration: work from a 10% dilution in DPG or alcohol. Minimum working level in a finished compound is around 0.05-0.1%; test carefully upward from there.
